Guild Wars 2 skill lags lately to be solved
Earlier in the week someone posted on the forum about Guild Wars 2 skill lag lately. He said that the skill lag has been getting worse day by day. What's worse, he cannot use the abilities in WvW, even when hitting a skill and it goes off 5-10 seconds later. That makes him very frustrating and annoying.
Yeah, that's really a bad feeling when you playing a game, during prime time the game would become almost unplayable due to network lag. So if you want to play it, you have to play after 9.30-10pm. Otherwise the Guild Wars 2 item game lags like crazy. It is even worse if you go to specific zones like Diessa Plateau and Wayfairer Foothills.
It is necessary to deal with the skill lag. On the one hand, that will make older players disappointment with the game and even get far away from the game. On the other hand, as the new updates added into the game, the skill lag will be a big problem for Guild Wars 2 gold players to experience.
As we have reflected this problem to ArenaNet, but they said they are working on it and without anything else. We hope to hear good news from ArenaNet as soon as possible...

What one change would you make to GW2?
Okay, bear with me on the reality that this has likely appeared before on Guru as a subject of discussion. I did do a few light browsing with the honorable intention of bumping a comparable topic!
The horrible truth is I was compelled by primal requirements to develop an account here as I am psychologically starved of my already incubated addiction to GW2 (Damnable BWE's!), & I thought I would make an exercise of getting familiar with this board by creating a topic while also somewhat alleviating my Guild Wars 2 gold withdrawal jitters. Holy run on sentence, Batman!
The one factor I would alter: This really is tough as I would like to make PvP gear as accessible as PvE gear is (no random chest content grind), as I see that as an essential challenge, Though more than that I would LOVE it if we could follow a more evily aligned story-line for our characters that nonetheless somehow tied us into slaying dragons (as it must), yet would enable for a fun, more dynamic procedure. In reality I would thoroughly take pleasure in if we Could join the "evil" outcast factions of each race.
So far I wish that we had access to more skill-sets, in particular the utility skills. You have 5 weapon skill slots, & 5 utility skill slots, but 2 of those are mainly going to be used up by a heal skill and your elite; leaving you with only 3 slots to work with. This is a difficulty to me because there are a fairly sizeable level of utility skills, and in pvp you will more than likely have to take at least one stun breaker, lowering your choices down to Two. Take Necromancer for instance, factors like Corrupt Boon & Epidemic are so fantastic, & such a potent niche for the class given how much hinges on boons and conditions in this Guild Wars 2 item game, that they appear practically like a given. Throw in Spectral Armor, and all of your choices are already made for you. Granted, this really is just speculation & theorycraft as I have never played a Necro. Three skill slots just seems to be too few, it must be 5, on top of 1 slot for a heal & one elite skill slot.

Tera adds 500,000 players in Europe since going free-to-play
New version of MMO attracts half a million gamers in Europe since business model switch last month; total registered user base now stands at over 1 million.
After the publication of this story, a Tera representative verified with GameSpot that the 500,000 new Guild Wars 2 gold player figure is associated only to the game's presence in Europe and not North America.
The original story follows beneath.
Fantasy massively multiplayer online game Tera added more than 500,000 new players since the game adopted a gratis-to-play business model, Gameforge announced today. The total volume of registered players for Tera: Rising now stands at over 1 million.
Gameforge said it opened six new game servers shortly after the game's gratis-to-play relaunch last month to accommodate the "high demand" for the game. Tera players have created about 1.five million characters since the game switched business models, Gameforge stated.
It was also revealed that the Guild Wars 2 item game's Castanic race is the most popular with new Tera: Rising players, followed by humans & high elves. Warriors are the most well known class, Gameforge stated, followed by the sorcerer plus the archer.
Tera is the most current MMO game to drop its subscription fee, following Lord of the Rings Online, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, EverQuest II, Aion, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Bethesda has not mentioned if its upcoming MMO game The Elder Scrolls Online will carry a subscription fee, however consultant Nicholas Lovell believes the game will launch with a subscription before going free-to-play.

What's the most efficient Karma to gold conversion?
Hey everyone,
Is it possible to convert Karma into gold? I know you can't do so directly, but presumably you can do so indirectly, such as buying mats/exotics from Karma vendors to sell on the TP or salvaging those exotics, or... (Unless you're not allowed to salvage exotics bought with karma--haven't checked.)
If there are ways, which yields the best conversion to Guild Wars 2 gold?
Thanks for any tips.
The only way I know of is to buy the Orrian Jewelry Boxes (or whatever they're called) from vendors in orr. They almost always drop little trash pieces that can be sold to the vendor. It's not much, like 10c per piece, but it's something.
Karma items are soulbound and you can't salvage equipment bought with it. So I can't really think of any other ways.
Buy karma gear, throw it in the mystic forge, sell it on the TP or to the merchant. Keep in mind that accessories you make this way will mostly be soulbound on ACQUIRE and sometimes you won't be able to even sell of them to the merchant (they will simply have no price).
So stick to simple stuff like buying 4 pieces of chest armour or gloves (the reason why I am bringing up gloves is because the Molesmasher's gloves seem to be among the cheapest karma gear you can throw in the MF).

No Guild Wars 2 expansions presently in the pipeline, Guild Wars 3 not happening anytime soon
The original Guild Wars received three expansions to further enhance the life of the MMO in the preceding years. So it comes as a surprise to fans that despite pretty much a year passing since the release of Guild Wars 2, no plans for an expansion were disclosed. Those fans might be in for quite a few disappointment as developer ArenaNet today confirmed that no expansions are on the cards at present.
"Expansions are certainly something that we'll potentially consider in the future." Guild Wars 2 item game director Colin Johanson said in an interview with IGN. "We don't have a timetable on it. We're open to it, however I think our major focus as a studio is making the living world thought as strong as perhaps can for the players that we have got."
When asked about the possibility of a 3rd entry in the franchise, Johanson mentioned that the team would like to refine the experience of Guild Wars two to the finest they can to keep the fan base engaged as lengthy as doable.
"We want to be in a position to have teams which are practically creating new, innovative features that modify the way that you play our game & grow that experience so it practically feels like you don't leave Guild Wars 2; Guild Wars 2 gets to be Guild Wars 2.5 or Guild Wars three & it continues to grow,"
In spite of being a PC exclusive, Guild Wars 2 gold has sold over 3 Million copies and set a brand new benchmark for MMOs to follow. With the number of subscriptions still on the rise fans will clamor for a sequel someday or the other, & we are certain ArenaNet will deliver.
